Thank you!  The fact that you are reading this with all you have on your plate preparing for the holidays is appreciated.

The answer to my favorite day of the year isn't Christmas.  My favorite day is actually today.  December 21.  The first day of winter.

It is a simple reason because today, Winter Solstice, is filled with hope.  

From here on out until mid-June, our days get a little longer.  Each day, a little more daylight, a little more sunshine, a little more hope.

And that is my holiday wish for you, hope. peace. joy.
